Its ok. I don't see what all the fuss is about. Ordered OJ and wasn't fresh and food was a bit on the oily side. Its cheap so that's nice.
Pricey but quite tasty pupusas. They should offer a large bowl of rice or beans on their menu. We were charged $10 each for a very small bowl of rice and a bowl of beans. REALLY OVER PRICED if you saw the size
I do love this restaurant. They keep it real. Prices are on point, so is service. The vibe here is very inviting and staff smiles. I do love the food here. Its a bit small. To-go can be an option.
Outstanding pupuseria in the Excelsior / lower Mission. They are constantly putting fresh ones on the grill and everything is fresh. We had a pork and a cheese, both were excellent. Their slightly pickled cabbage and that red sauce simply MUST be applied extremely liberally, and then consumed with much delight and followed by a satisfying full feeling lasting for hours.
This small but great place has a wide variety of Salvi food. The employees are friendly, patient and good at explaining the different items. They are also pretty accommodating with food restrictions.
