It was my birthday and I want to try a gourmet Filipino restaurant… this restaurant has a really good food but the serving is really small. It’s good for small bites but not to feed your hunger. I still enjoyed the food because they are all fresh and the taste are something incomparable. They created various cooking styles on the dishes that are somewhat familiar to us and elevate it to the highest level.

We went for brunch and loved Abacá. The restaurant itself is bright, open, and airy Two large, central skylights kept the restaurant full of sunlight during our visit. The restaurant itself is located inside a hotel, with decorative lattice screens separating the dining room from the lobby. The food itself was excellent. The savory French toast was delicious and unlike any French toast I've tried before. I'd definitely recommend the avocado toast for a vegetarian option.

I’d call to make reservations just to be sure. The food is amazing, and fair priced. They really took Filipino dishes and made it elegant and beautiful, almost too beautiful to eat. Also the servers are beyond friendly. The drinks, YOU MUST TRY.

We were guests at The Alton, decided to stop in for a night cap after our night out. It was busy with locals, which is usually a good sign. Drinks and service were outstanding. We came back in for breakfast, shared the Filipino breakfast. SO DELICIOUS and the portions were huge. As I said, we were able to share and we had leftovers. We also ordered an ube and coconut pastry that was also incredible. We will be back.

I liked that despite the location in a hotel, this place stood out as its own restaurant rather than a hotel restaurant. I enjoyed all their cocktails but given the types of flavor profiles, it was suspected that they would be more sweet than I prefer. The entrees were more enjoyable than the desserts. Reservations are necessary
