A WOW! find

Friendly service
I keep coming back for the food.
The food and service (family) keeps me looking a parking spot (if you know the Mission, It will be found)
Yes a WOW! find.
I've eating there, almost once a week, for the 18 or so years.
They always take care of me.
The veggie korma is pure comfort food for me and when I ask for extra spicy they're not afraid. Thank you Al Hamra!
This restaurant is perhaps the Indian eatery on the west coast. The chicken is always juicy and tasty. The service is always friendly and attentive. A most have for all transplants looking for authenticity and great service. Parking kinda sucks but that's the only draw back.
Pizza only served at night (and only by the pie on Thursday nights, by my experience). We ordered a "medium" crust - wish we'd gone with thin - way too bready. Tasty enough, but was way more like pizza than Indian food. Too much cheese in my opinion. Crumbled paneer would have been better than low moisture mozzarella. Probably built as drunk food, not dinner food.
The chicken dish (I think we ordered karahi and got korma) was quite tasty, though. The place itself is a bit run-down, and not very clean. Service was so-so. BYOB is a plus.
Tandoori Chicken: Meat was delicious. Sauce good. Fun where the extra sauces that are free to play with.
Mango Lassi also great.
Weak spot? The Naan bread. It is thick and tastes lick pizza bread.
