First time coming here was on a Saturday. If you know big city life restaurants, retailers, grocery stores are full on weekends. There was no such luck as getting a table as you walk in because this place was packed. So bad they asked a single person eating to move to a two seat table so our party of three could use the larger table. Food took a while but that was to be expected. They had many wait people but just could not keep up with all the patrons constantly coming in and taking care of their tables. The food we ordered came out fairly quickly after we place our order
Food was good, not oily and plentiful. So, why not come back for breakfast on Monday. They have specials for $9.99 if you can get your order in before 11 AM. I had the Satay Beef Noodle soup with hot milk tea special and we also got the steamed beef noodle. Obviously shorter wait times on a weekday. Now all I have to do is try their dinner menu some day.
You really can’t find good Hong Kong style breakfast in the city anymore, especially for under $10! You can get porridge and soy sauce noodles or satay beef noodle soup with HK milk tea… amazing deal for the price. Also they have really tasty rice noodle wrap for $6, just come and eat HK breakfast with the best HK milk tea and you won’t regret it!
Went there tonight. All was delicious!!! Not too salty. The owner was nice & staff served the food promptly. I will definitely be coming back again.
Nice breakfast 😋 👌. Foods are yummy at a reasonable price. In the morning, they have a breakfast combo. Options are limited for breaksfast combo. Combo is without a drink, but the price is good. It gets busy very fast. There are many options outside the breakfast combo. They have lobster noodles, which are considered very cheap. I think it is limited edition.
I haven't been here since this place was ABC Cafe. I like what they have done with this place. Much cleaner and welcoming.
Service is as you can expect from a no frills Cantonese/Hong Kong style restaurant and cuisine where your wait staff will remind your auntie or uncle.
I was looking for something lite, and got a seafood noodle soup. Not too salty, just the right amount of noodles, veggies, and seafood.
The rest of my table consisted of Fu Jian fried rice (which I enjoyed), Portuguese chicken and rice (a hint sweet; not for me), baked chicken spaghetti (not pictured; I'm not into sweet spaghetti).
Be patient with these places, standard of service may not be anything to write home about nor is this place for IG influencers' source material.
This is food that'll satiate the kind of food I grew up with. No more, no less.
