Chef from Alexander's steakhouse (when the food was delicious) excellent tasting menu with a great option for a non-alcoholic pairing, great for a dry-January or teetotalers. Creative and tasty ensembles. Modern atmosphere with bar seating and an open kitchen. Unisex bathrooms complete with deluxe totos! The reservation system allows you to conveniently preorder everything and the service staff is ready upon your arrival. They also have a unique house account available for ongoing use. Will definitely be coming back and certainly recommend!
This type of restaurant is not my typical jam, but one of our close friends met the owners and took us along to try it. I was very impressed with the food and service, the flavors and presentation were phenomenal. Such unique combinations for each course. We had the fixed price set menu, something like 10 courses, it was all exceptional. There is an option to go for an a la carte menu where you can pick and choose individual courses, but to be honest I'd recommend the full menu to experience everything they've put together. Missing a star for me because this kind of coin for food is a touch too extravagant for me, and the ambiance of the restaurant is really quite strange, very sterile and cold (not temperature cold...). I'd recommend the experience for sure...
This place was amazing. Every dish was so good! The meat quality was also ridiculously good. To top it all off, it's at a reasonable price for being A5 Wagyu. Definitely coming back here again.
New restaurant from Chef Zimmerman of Alexander Steakhouse focusing on wagyu. Everything was delicious and not astronomical prices (relative to SF prices). Got the beverage pairing which was nice (mixed in a couple sakes and an ale along with wines) and they also have a reserve wine pairing available. Worth it in my opinion. Seating was around the kitchen area so you can see your food being prepared and interact with the staff easily. Worth a visit!
Went opening night and have to say it was great! Food, wine and beverage pairings, and staff were exceptional! Was impressed with how smooth it was being the first night. And imagine it will only get better.
