Golden Gate Market Deli & Liquor

While staying at at the Travel Lodge right next door we were told to try a sandwich at this Market/ Deli. Wow, they have a big selection of specialty sandwiches along with a build your own option. They use good quality sour dough rolls which made it yummy. The sandwich maker is friendly and fast. All the people who work at this neighborhood market were cool. I highly recommend you try their deli sandwiches.

I was recommended this place by a local and was not disappointed! They have an amazing variety of sandwiches to choose from. All the employees were quick and super friendly. If you're in the area, this is a must try lunch stop!

I was in town for some work and accidentally stepped into this little deli and I’m glad I did.
Great sandwiches with so many choices!

I work nearby and walked over to grab some sandwiches for dinner. My coworkers talk about this place all the time and I haven’t had the chance to try until now.

I got a classic cold turkey provolone on Dutch crunch. Super cold and fresh veggies, creamy cheese, turkey sliced right in front of you.

I read a review after the fact that these sandwiches come hot if you don’t request it so just FYI.

Will definitely be returning. I love a good sandwich and my bf seems to enjoy the RB cheesesteak sandwich.

Also a wide variety of chips and beer selection if you need a few additions.

I only write reviews if I really feel compelled to. This little deli is a small gem in a big city! Don't overlook this if you're hungry. The selection of sandwich choices will keep you in you in peril which is the one for you... There had to be 30+ to choose from. I had the opportunity to visit twice during my visit to San Francisco and my expectations were exceeded both times. The quality is great and the service excellent. The staff were some of the friendliest people I met during my trip and I would gladly patron them again. If staying in a hotel near the Presidio area, make this a go to stop for lunch or dinner! You won't be disappointed!
