Amazing Gumbo! I had the Smoked Turkey and added shrimp. The food was fresh with no shortage of flavor. Chef Dontaye was kind and personable, I wish this business much success. 10/10 I can’t wait to come back.

Best Gumbo I’ve ever had!!! Seriously delicious!! Friendly and clean spot. Plenty of parking. We tried the corn cakes (hoecakes) and fell in love. Prices are fair. Go for the large its the better deal. This gumbo was perfect for a rainy day. Will definitely be back!

I have been chasing them around the city at the Farmers Markets. So happy they finally have a location. Hands down the best gumbo in SF, it reminds me of being back south. Amazing gumbo, the po’boys are fantastic, and you won’t go wrong with any side. 10 out 10 would recommend.

Amazing gumbo and the shrimp po’boy was mouthwatering. We added blue crab to the chicken and sausage gumbo just to top off what was already a flavorful and filling dish. We ordered a large bowl which was more than enough for two people to share.

They were gracious enough to ask if we wanted to split the po’boy in half knowing we planned to share everything. Great service for a walk up ordering experience.

We also ordered a very tasty cucumber salad. Crisp and refreshing contrast to the spicy gumbo. So good!

Everyone working there were so nice and fun to talk to.

Atmosphere was simple and laid back. Nothing pretentious about this place. Nice people. Great food. Really enjoyed it.

Yummy, and authentic, Louisiana cooking in Bayview. Weekly revolving menu, a treat for variety.

Chicken and sausage gumbo, comforting. Perfectly spiced, grilled shrimp, an excellent add on. Beet salad, comes with creamy dressing that packs a light kick of spice.
