Little Star Pizza

Must excellent Chicago Style. Lady that took my order and made the pizza is a real gem.

Excellent deep dish pizza. Staff very welcoming and friendly. I just wish they were open for dine in so I could enjoy their pizza fresh out of the oven!

Went in to get the pizza after the 50 minute wait time and still didn't have the pizza. Thats not a big deal to me the problem is that when the lady looked for my order she couldn't find it. Told me they were still making it. However because I stood there waiting I watched what was happening and she never bothered to bring my pizza. She waited on me to ask for it. To me it seemed like the pizza was in the warmer the entire time.. no effort felt like she didn't care. Wish I could remember her name.

This place has some of my favorite deep dish pizza around. The cornmeal crust is incredible, and makes for terrific leftovers because it doesn't get soggy like most pizza. You may often find you have leftovers because a single slice of their deep dish pizza is very dense. I give 4 stars instead of 3 because their sauce is now loaded with garlic which I can't easily digest, and there's nothing they can do to modify this. (I don't think this was always the case, and I've been coming here for years). All their apps are also ready prepared so they can't remove garlic or other ingredients from them either.

Deep dish pizza and salad are still delicious. Wait staff do a great job on busy nights. Just bummed out that they stopped serving my favorite appetizer, the bonanza bread.
