Lucky

This is a nice grocery store that stocks unique products not carried by other competing stores in SF. I've always loved the Sunnyside Farms brand which are only available at Raley's, Bel Aire, Nob Hill Foods, and SaveMart, all of which are not in SF, so Lucky's is my only source. They also have a nice deli and bakery department that I love, and this location is in a small shopping center, so I can get other shopping done at once.

Low priced market. Good parking. I very much appreciate the prices & quality of food. 12/21/19: the remodeled store is beautiful inside! Wide isles. Nice flooring. Neatly stacked vegetables & fruit, new self-serve deli!, nice service deli, very clean! Still low food prices. Some neat high end fancy food choices too. The bakery cakes were professional looking. It is a pleasure to shop in this store. I am highly impressed by the great remoleded store & it's new layout too. I guess this store competes with Trader Joe's nearby & the soon to be built nearby Whole Foods, & perhaps the small Target food store nearby. This store's prices are quite low, & the food is of high quality. So far I have not read of food recalls for Lucky, but I keep reading about food recalls at TJ's & some at Whole Foods. It's not their fault, but still. It is what they choose to sell that keeps getting recalled. Not so far at Lucky! May, 2021. Their buffet bar is open again. Tasty. 7/8/21: The hot bar food was good.
