I just left and I'm already excited to go back!
Everything on the menu looks divine, and everything we ordered did not leave us disappointed. I only wish my stomach were larger.
Being unique cuisine, we leaned on our server to help guide us, and she gave us super helpful insights into our order and suggested a modification - which we were oh-so-glad we did!
The food is rich, the flavors are earthy, spicy (as in seasoning, but a bit of heat too), and warm, the drinks refreshing. With an open mind and a curious palete - you won't be disappointed!
Every dish is packed with flavor and not your typical dishes that you see when you go to Malaysian restaurants which is what makes this spot do unique. Ambience could use some work but food is definetly worth venturing to Noe Valley for!
Interesting dishes. Bold flavors. Abundance of micro greens. The food definitely stands out from standard SF fare. The portions were enough for two. The food felt a bit heavy though. We went a little close to closing time, so not faulting the service.
Great new Malaysian restaurant! The dishes are full bodied, filling and flavorful - so maybe not for the faint of heart. I highly recommend the salted sea bass. We went at the start of dinner so we were seated immediately and all of our food came out very quickly. However I can definitely see the restaurant filling up during a busy hour. But as with everything else in SF, plan accordingly.
Yummy Malaysian themed food. Everything was tasty but also slightly on the heavier/fatty side. Be prepared to overeat cause everything was just so yum!!
