Nippon Curry featuring Hinoya Curry

The best japanese curry you will find in the city with plenty of options to customize! Pickled goodies are also yummy! Alcoholic drinks and happy hour all day! What’s not to love. Order at the counter and self serve and a little on the pricy side for the lackluster atmosphere but I’ll still return :]

This place has the softest and best flavor curry in town (imo). If you have a peanut allergy I would be careful of the curries. But the chicken curry is super juicy and tender! A must try place.

Finally got to try Nippon Curry in the Marina. I got the chicken katsu curry with their vegetarian roux. I’m so glad that is an option because I don’t eat beef. And I’m happy to report that the veggie version is pretty good!

It still has deep flavors that I expect from a Japanese curry. And it was a peppery, which was a surprise to me. I liked the spice and I didn’t think it was overwhelming. The chicken was perfectly crisp and the pickles gave the dish the acidity it needed. It is optional, but I recommend getting them.

I love Japanese curry and I’m glad the city has another option on where to get some.

I never liked Japanese curry until I came here. Wow, the karaage was incredible, it was so juicy, and the the curry was so rich and delightful The workers are so kind, and the vibe in there is so comforting, I'm pretty sure they played some Hikaru Utada while I was eating. So so good. Great food, great service, great mood. I was smiling the whole time.

The most delicious bowl of Japanese Curry we ever had across America!! The Hinoya curry is mouthwatering and delicious. We can testify as native asians that this is as good as it gets!

The owners are really friendly and welcoming. And the ambience is chill and calming. We do hope this becomes a chain store across America!!
