What an incredible little gem of an Italian cafe and bakery; the pastries are incredible -- laminated to perfection with amazing flavors like ricotta & tomato, and salmon-avocado, on top of classics like croissant and tart. Great Illy / Euro-cafe vibes. What a welcome addition to the neighborhood!

TLDR: croissants were decent but not amazing, service was friendly and atmosphere is lovely

We got the cheese and prosciutto but they mean it in literal Italian meaning just ham, not the smoked meat that most in US think prosciutto to be. The raspberry pistachio needed a bit more filling of raspberry in the middle, the croissant wasn’t flaky enough for my liking.

Cute place with great service. I tried a Chai latte for the 1st time. Quite mild. Need to come back for their pastries as they look good

Such a fantastic full immersion in Italy even if you are in the heart of Castro, SFO. Amazing welcoming in Italian from the staff Than I got to meet Giovanni, who I believe is the pastry chef, and he explained all the different pastries they had that day. Great selection of croissants but savoury focaccias as well. I tried the custard cream croissant and that was to die for! Also BEST COFFEE IN TOWN, Illy Caffè served here. You can spot this adorable coffee shop straight away… Giovanni RED Vespa 🛵 is usually parked outside. An amazing coffee shop, strongly recommended. A truly gem .

Always the friendliest service, great pastries and the music and scene gives off European intellectual cafe vibes. Only wish is that they were open in the evenings for the community to gather, read, work and visit. 🥰
