    Non pretentious, delicious izakaya in the cute Cortland neighborhood. It does have SF prices but every item we ordered was very delightful.

    I think Hamachi Kama was the best Hamachi Kama in SF. So soft and perfectly seasoned.

    The sashimi combination comes with real wasabi, which you would normally have to pay extra to order separately. They are clearly perfectionist when it comes to food!

    Very interesting and delicious interpretation on hamachi collar. It’s not the usual with a smattering of sea salt and a wedge of lemon. I won’t spoil it for you. You’ll just have to try it. Service team made an error on our order, but recovered nicely. Enjoyable atmosphere, food, drink, and staff. Would appreciate if they added more beers to the menu.

    Great little corner Japanese pop food restaurant. The hamachi Kama was excellent and so were the skewers. Can’t wait to see the expansion of the menu over time as things open back up in my hood.

    Delightful new Japanese restaurant in Bernal Heights. Great food and service. Family friendly and plenty of socially distanced indoor tables.
