Square Pie Guys

Excellent customer service. Friendly staff. Amazing foods. Fries and pizza, everything was so good! It's probably not healthy, but to allow yourself once in a while 😋 The best pizza around 👏

I really 😘 Detroit style pizza. My go-to is Pizza Square in Soma. But I thought I'd try Square Pie Guy's since they've expanded quite a bit.

We had the asparagus, Caesar salad, JLin pizza and the combo with red sauce, pepperoni and sausage (Ellen supreme). I really liked the combination pizza. Good flavors. A few constructive feedback would be that the sausage seemed like small pellet chunks. Not sure what type is used but I like the ground kind.

Also, the crust was good but not as cheesy as Pizza Square.

The JLin was okay. I'm not a big fan of bechamel sauce and was surprised half the options were for bechamel sauce.

Overall, rating five ⭐. Great add to Ghirardelli SQ.

Visited the Square Pie Guys - Ghirardelli location and it was an awesome experience. Located in Fisherman’s Wharf, about 20 years from Ghirardelli Square. Now, if you’re a pizza fan and love think crust, generous portions of pepperoni, and Detroit style pizza, this is for you. This is one of the newer locations in the Bay Area (SOMA and Oakland) and I must say it’s my favorite. There is ample indoor and outdoor seating, the food is made fresh, beer is on tap, and the views of the bay are awesome. I ordered the 6x8 which comes with about 50 crispy pepperonis. They have other options as well, but the pizza is why people visit. I highly recommend this location, especially on a beautiful day.

Sat outside on their nice picnic tables. Ordered The 6x8(pepperoni) pizza. Very quick service when they open at 11:30 if you want to beat the lunch rush. With tip it ended costing me $30. Could only order whole pizzas, no slices. The size was between a small and medium. The pizza was good plus piping hot. A bit oily because of the pepperoni which was fixed with a dab of the napkin. Finished the whole pie and was full. Would recommend sharing half because it will leave you satisfied and with room left for dessert.

Love this new location for the Square Pie Guys! Close to the beach and water and nestled at the bottom of Ghirardelli Square, this pizza spot will not disappoint. Serving Detroit style pizza with well made dough and crust. The JLIN pizza is a must-try with its green goddess topping!
