Sushi Zone

Another hole in the wall sushi restaurant that serves delicious, unpretentious food in SF. Simple menu and the baked mussels are a must-try ???????

Just wow! Yes , there is always a wait (it’s small), they only take cash (family owned), but it is the best sushi we have ever had in our lives (we eat a ton of sushi) ! We BBQ Eel, Hawaiian 2, Spicy Tuna and Uni!

This gem will not disappoint, and is just an incredible experience to have!

The sushi was wonderfully presented and it was clear the chef was extremely skilled. However, they need more than one chef for the size of their clientele. It was 1.5 hours before I was seated and another 45mins before I was served. If they aren’t in the place to hire a second chef, then perhaps installing a sushi train would be better

Sushi Zone is one of my favorite sushi places in San Francisco! The owners are so friendly and the food is absolutely superb! I have waited for over an hour to eat here on multiple occasions; it is definitely worth the wait!

Very cute little mom & pop restaurant. We didn’t have to wait to be seated but after ordering it took almost 90 minutes to get our food and by that time the kitchen was closing and it was too late to order anything else which we very much wanted to do as the rolls were very small and we were still hungry after eating. We ended up going down the street and getting a hotdog to top off out stomachs because the portion sizes were so small. Very disappointed in that way. Otherwise great quality, but poor value. Also be aware they are CASH ONLY.
