Sutter Pub & Restaurant

This quaint little pub is right across our air bnb. The staff is SUPER FRIENDLY from the moment we walked in to the time we left. The food was amazing!!!!! I had the fish and chips and the bf had bacon cheeseburger with Swiss cheese with onion rings. Highly recommended!!! 10/10 for comfort food and a friendly pub atmosphere.

Right next to our hotel so convenient as can be. Dinner our first night here was good. Enjoyed their fish & chips & my husband enjoyed his meal but I'll be damned it I remember what it was LOL.

Came back the next morning for breakfast cuz again it was convenient, and enjoyed breakfast even more! Sorry I didn't take photos but the salmon omelet was great, French toast was good and mom loved the bacon lol.

I highly recommend a visit here. Clean, great service, good food, not to noisy but when it's full might be a little loud but not to bad really 😀

We love English Pubs. This one was a smaller one, but they had fresh cod for their fish and chips. It came out hot and the fish was nicely done and tasty. The chips were cut thin and hot. The draft beers were a good selection. We came during happy hour from 3pm to 6pm. They have a Happy Hour meal and $6 drafts. It was only two blocks from The Donatello so we were able to walk to the Sutter Pub. Enjoy the draft beer and Pub food!

Great service for a Friday night. Pay attention to peak time, as there is very little seating inside. Only ONE toilet. We ordered the fish and chips, which was hearty, light ,and very flavorful. Chips weren't very salty! That was nice. The fish was made in-house, and it showed! So delicious. We also shared the key lime pie. Not fresh or 'homemade'- I would try something else next time.

We walked by and decided to try the Sutter Pub & Restaurant on a Monday evening. The pub was about half full when we arrived around 6:30pm and stayed that way for the duration of our stay of about two and a half hours.

The interior of the pub is very genuine and quite nice for a pub like this. It has several TV screens for those that enjoy watching sports. The bar counter is nice and high with high chairs for patrons that prefer sitting at the bar. There is only one booth in the bar, and then a number of tables and chairs along the walls of the bar. The booth is located next to the bathroom, which might be a bit challenging if you are seated at the both on an evening with many guests. The ceiling is very tall, but the sound level in the pub is somehow not suffering as a result, as least not on a weekday evening.

The pub has an excellent beer selection with many draft beer options, and even more on bottles and cans. We tried a number of different beers and enjoyed having such a wide variety of choices. You an find anything from a lager to a wheat beer, or an IPA or gose. We were impressed by the wide range of options.

The menu is typical for a pub like this, with all the dishes you would expect in a pub. We tried fried chicken, fish and chips, tacos, and burgers. The burger was cooked perfectly to order, the fish and chips were very good, and so were the tacos and fried chicken. We were positively surprised by the quality of the food at the Sutter Pub & Restaurant. The food was served pretty quickly after ordering, and we didn‘t feel like we experienced a long wait.

The staff was amazing. Extremely friendly and helpful, and also making recommendations as needed. Our waitress was very attentive and made us feel welcome and appreciated, even if this was our first visit. With service like that, and with such a big beer selection and good food, we will definitely come back to Sutter Pub and Restaurant.
