The Lightbox Cafe

Just wonderful! The food is great! Helpful Staff! Glad that it is under new management. I love the new interior set up.

I was so happy to see The Lightbox Cafe finally open its doors on August 17th. I live in the area and have watched with excitement all the movement as they transformed a very old and tired deli into a place to be recognized. The details the interior space are amazing. I watched the custom-made tables arrive that were created from three local Marin redwood trees and was so impressed with the craftsmanship. The Lightbox Cafe was built with lots of love for being made into a neighborhood place that is truley local and beautiful. The atmosphere is very fun too with all the vintage lightbulb art. The outdoor seating is covered and off-street with is awesome. The manager Ritchie is a delight and the food, beverages, Verve coffee, wine & beer selection is just what the East Cut community needed. I can’t imagine what it’s like to open an independent new restaurant in the
city during this time but will continue to enjoy and support this place frequently. I encourage you to try the LBC, you will find it to be very charming + fill the empty void of something fresh new and inviting.
