Awesome experience, world famous pizza and everything we ordered was good. The outdoor dining was a little too breezy and cold where the food was getting cold too fast. Indoor dining would have been better but either way, great place right smack dab in San Francisco!

My favorite pizza pub! You've always watered my mouth with your delicious pizza. Especially your 3-cheese pizza ugh! It tastes heavenly. I like your place as well. It was so clean and fancy. Also, you've served the pizza fast, which I liked the most. I will definitely recommend your pizza pub to everyone.

This is by far the best place to get authentic Italian Pizza in SF. I come back here often and this place has never disappointed me. Rave about this all the time. Good work guys. Keep up.
Bonus points for great ambiance. This place deserves 10 stars every single time.

I visited Tony's in a recent weekend getaway to San Fransisco from Salt Lake City.
Let's talk about the pizza first. There is NOTHING back home in Salt Lake City that even comes close to being as good as Tony's pizza. Tony's has a perfect NY slice style foldable crust, with ideal thickness and texture, baked to just the right amount of done so that you can even re-heat it and enjoy it again. But eat it HOT and eat it FRESH for best results!
The cheese is unbeatable, perfectly melted and pure mozzarella, the toppings are fresh and mostly local from what I understand.
I went in with my family of 4 and was told there was going to be an hour and a half wait on a Friday night (not surprising considering the size of the place and location and quality), but we really didn't want to wait. Luckily these people were geniuses and decided to open a "by the slice" to-go shop right next door that offered the full Tony's menu as well as by-the-slice pizza to go with less than a fourth of the wait time!
The pizza we got after a fairly easy ordering process thanks to the amazing locals, was so worth the wait and the crowd!
We got our slices and walked down to a nearby park, sat on a bench and went to pizza heaven.
Because of the setting and circumstances I didn't try ordering the award winning gourmet pizzas, I just got a few slices of cheese, pepperoni, and 4 cheese.
The 4 cheese was exquisite, with perfect amounts of all 4 and a delicious palatable blend that wasn't too greasy or pasty if you know what I mean. The NY style crust was golden, as was the more local sourdough type crust (I think that's what it is anyway,). It all made for the best pizza I'd ever eaten!
So as much as I wished we could have gotten a table and enjoyed the fancy menu options, I was so pleased with the meal that I have to give them 5 stars! It was a truly San Fransisco experience that I haven't found anywhere else on Earth in my limited travels.

    Three stars for the pasta.
Four stars for the mixed green salad.
    Four stars for the service.
(I'm guessing they have great pizza!)

The staff at Tony's is great, and their little outside eating area is very nice. I'll bet their pizza is delicious! But we were really looking for delicious Italian pasta, and the pasta just wasn't special. Just heavy with no special flavors or textures to delight in. The mixed salad was very good, though. Solid four stars for the salad.

I really liked the touch-free menu system for pandemic times.
