“Solid Chinese-American, with lunchtime hot bar serving choice of 1, 2 or 3 mains and chow mien, fried or white rice. Heaping portions lunch platter for under $10 — a bargain. Crispy fried pork chop, yum. Vegetable stir fry, comfortable and tasty. Chicken chow mien, unassuming but nothing special. A good option when seeking something casual, familiar and local.”

“Recommend to make a reservation ahead of time. Their salami pizza is great, and there are also plenty of choices for sides/appetizers to share within a group. Great place for a late night hangout.”

“A fantastic Christmas brunch. Every detail was nailed. Food, service, piano, and that view, all paired for a wonderful experience. The history of this establishment and the "fleet" bottles took me back to a long ago place. From the bacon to the caviar, every bite was better than the next. Service was attentive and not overbearing. If you're looking for a wonderful Christmas brunch, or you're just in town and want to grab a drink, be sure to visit the Top of the Mark.”

“Loved the atmosphere as soon as I went in. Staff were very friendly but not overbearing. Food is relatively cheap given the location but the quality is great. I really hate cilantro but this is the first time I liked them (I forgot to ask them to take it off on my sandwich 😅). They even granted my request to put the sandwich halves into separate packs. Chai latte was done just how I like it, but there's a counter available for condiments.”

“We had a great date night at Izakaya. They have happy hour on weekdays from 5-7 and drinks are 50% off. I recommend a reservation, especially on a Friday. We made ours same day and it was reservation only seating when we got there at 5:30. Service was prompt and kind. The food was tasty. I enjoyed the dinner bento box option.”

“As a pizza connoisseur, when I heard about Roman style pizza, 'pinsa', with a different dough, I was immediately curious. As they note on their website, pinsa dough is made from a combination of soy flour, rice flour, and wheat flour, creating a crust that is light yet crunchy and satisfying. We ordered the Formaggio di Capra e Spinaci for some greens to go with, and then got the Quattro Formaggi and Prosciutto e Fichi for our pinsas. I find salads from pizza places to be very hit or miss; and Gusto Pinsa's salad was certainly a hit. The salad was perfectly dressed - it had a ton of flavor with the dressing, tomatoes, goat cheese, cranberries and walnuts coming together to provide an interesting textural contrast, with a nice hit of black pepper. The pinsas were the star of the meal though, as expected. Although I'm not the biggest fan of cheese only pizzas, the Quattro Formaggi was excellent! It was super cheesy and salty (in the perfect way), and the splotches of sauce provided nice balance to the saltiness of the cheese. The Prosciutto e Fichi was the preferred pinsa by myself and my partner, with the prosciutto and fig glaze providing a nice saltiness and sweetness that contrasted very well with the Quattro Formaggi. If you haven't tried Roman style pinsa yet, what are you waiting for? These pinsas were delicious and somehow felt much lighter than eating a regular pizza. We will be back!”

“I can’t believe this place has only been open a year! Delectable food, excellent wine choices, and chill vinyl beats to boot. Everything I’ve had here has been delicious, from wine tasting to a couple of pizzas. ProTip- they also have a wine club!”

“Dining alone, no problem the staff and customers alike are most welcoming! I stopped by on my way back from a rain soaked walk and the meatballs app and lasagna were excellent. Across from me a group of Italian exchange students were celebrating a birthday party and shared a pice of excellent chocolate cake, too ! Such a nice time”

“Amazing experience from the wonderful hostess, to the waiter, through the entire meal service. The filet was delicious, and cut like butter. The mashed potatoes were flavorful, & creamy. The creamed spinach was great also. The carrots were a new experience, but definitely something to try. We finished off with the apple crisp which too, was full of flavor, and wonderful textures. Cannot wait to go back. We celebrated my husband's birthday in one of the private booths , and it was such a special experience.”

“I had the most amazing experience at Slice with Spice online restaurant! Their menu is a delightful fusion of flavors that left me craving for more. The Chicken Tikka Pizza was an absolute masterpiece, with perfectly cooked chicken tikka pieces atop a crispy crust, and the Chicken Bacon Ranch Pizza was a heavenly combination of savory and creamy. The Chicken Tenders were tender indeed, with a crispy coating that was pure perfection. And their Carrot Juice was so refreshing; it added a healthy twist to my meal. What truly sets Slice with Spice apart is the impeccable balance of spices in every dish. Each bite was a burst of flavor that transported my taste buds to culinary heaven. Moreover, their online ordering system is user-friendly, making the whole process seamless. The delivery was prompt, and the food arrived piping hot. If you're looking for a place that elevates classic dishes with a spicy twist, look no further than Slice with Spice. It's a culinary adventure that I can't wait to embark on again!”

“We got a tuna melt wrap and a grilled salmon wrap to go. The tuna melt was decent but it would've been nice to include some vegetables. The salmon wrap had a good amount of salmon but it was quite fishy. I like that they were able to have the sauce on the side because it would've made the wrap soggy. I also got an almond latte since somebody mentioned that it was the best one they've had. I found it mediocre at best. The amount of food was more than filling but quality and taste can be improved.”

“This was our first time at United Dumplings. Just a few minutes walk from our Airbnb, so we decided to try it out. We ordered the Sautéed Pea Shoots, Xiao Long Bao, Spicy Sichuan Wonton, and the Seafood Stir Fried Noodles. The food was excellent, and the service was great.”

“Decent, straightforward pho broth — good, but not exceptional. Noodles boiled to order. Fresh shrimp spring rolls, tasty and served with a slightly spicy sauce. This counter serve Vietnamese may not necessarily be worth going out of one’s way for, but a good option when craving noodle soup in the neighborhood.”

“Deceiving ... all the outlets have no power! Brand new Starbucks great location across Kaiser Permanente, service is not great; people behind the counter are not knowledgeable and borderline rude. Cold brew coffee here is very weak and not up to the usual Starbucks quality. Thank goodness the egg bites are still good! Only one restroom, it is not well-kept. Expect a line to order, this place is bustling as there is not much places near here to have coffee and tables while you wait for appointment at Kaiser.”

“Atmosphere was loud. .My DE TACO drink was disappointing. My jalapeños poppers were not spicy. My wife was was satisfied with her Mac and cheese. Diet Pepsi drink in a 12oz can was $6. I do not think we will be back, but you must try for yourself.”

“TLDR: pork is still really good but the whole burrito is lacking in flavor I used to love waiting for these pork burritos at the food truck and getting to finally eat them. These days, the pork is still decent but the burrito was pretty lacking in flavor. The ingredients tasted fresh but I had to put a lot of hot sauce in the burrito to make it tasty. These don’t seem as good as back in the day”

“Found this hidden gym and am I excited ! Large clean space with an open kitchen. The back area is adorned by jazz greats, large tables with comfy seats. What’s unique about this place is the owner, Brian. He’s very knowledgeable about wine. Give him a varietal or name of a brand and he can provide exceptional recommendations. The wine list here is global- unlike nearby wine bars. Another bonus is the full kitchen! No more boring cheese and crackers. The experience here is all about elevating your knowledge and palate, if you choose. Super friendly staff and delicious food. Great spot for date night, work meetings or hosting a gathering of friends. Will be back to try something new. Been here a few times and service is always on point. East parking, outside patio has heated lamps but I like inside vibe. Will be back ! Thanks !!”

“I dined here during the second week of opening and thought that they were off to a strong start. Located on the Embarcadero waterfront, the modern, well-designed space features a stunning bar, elegant finishes, and a patio with a view of the bay. It was quite rainy when I visited, and the patio was fully enclosed and heated so diners were comfortably shielded. For the mezze, I enjoyed the fluffy pita with muhammara (savory sweet red pepper) and eggplant dips. If you are feeling fancy, you can splurge on the salt cod buñelos, which were elevated with jamón ibérico and hackleback caviar. I also liked the broiled Kusshi oysters with bright lemon-prosecco sabayon and pancetta bits. For mains, the tender oven roasted confit octopus was great with tangy tzatziki and cauliflower escabeche. I thought the steak shish kebab on a bed of maitake mushroom, brussels sprouts, and hummus was delicious, but I’m not convinced that the cut (hanger steak) or portion was worth the $70 price tag. The escarole-ricotta filled ravioli was the last to come out, and the timing was off but worth the wait. The al dente pasta was lovely with the butter sunchoke puree and contrasting pecans and black trumpet garnish. I couldn’t resist ordering all three of the desserts - basque cheesecake, winter citrus pavlova, and chocolate cake for two. The chocolate cake was a generous portion and pure decadence with cardamon heavy baharat spice, accompanied by cream cheese ice cream. The pavlova was my favorite - lighter, tangy from the citrus and kiwi, and paired with refreshing ginger ice cream. The basque cheesecake was a bit sweet and dense for my liking, especially compared to the original in San Sebastián, but that didn't stop me from enjoying it. The drinks menu features cocktails with dreamy names and diverse ingredients. I enjoyed a bourbon cocktail, the “Ruby and the Phoenix”, which was similar to a smoky old-fashioned. Note that the cocktails are pre-mixed. I thought the service was not bad for being so new. There were a few courses where the server forgot to introduce the dish, and the timing was noticeably slow on the last savory course. But overall, I thought the staff was warm, enthusiastic, and I quite enjoyed my dinner experience.”
