The first and only time time I've been there. It was delicious! I tried the 3 taco combo, each a different style. The flavor was not what I expected. But still very tasty. They was a salsa bar you could help your self to, I did get a little for my tacos, but of the two I tried they were only medium when I was going for spicy spicy.
The service was quick and friendly enough. There is outside seating and the inside area was clean.
My one complaint is that all the tortillas were a little cold and slightly brittle. They weren't heated up enough and while I know they weren't raw they still had that weird texture.
Rubio's has been one of my favorite chain restaurants for a long time now, so I may be a little biased when I say I really enjoyed my experience with this recent visit. The fish burrito and fish tacos remain top notch, which is why I went with the burrito once again this visit, although that was due to them running out of the immensely popular lobster, so I didn't get a chance to sample that seasonal delight. Maybe next time, and even if I miss out again next time, I know I won't be disappointed with the other available choices, so it's a win either way.
It's rare that I did five stars to anyone even if they're really really good but you know Rubio's is awesome! Been going to Rubio's since the very first one in Del Mar California. This is a brand new one here and Lodi and it's clean and excellent amazing food great quality great staff!
