I really enjoy Michael David wines, their grounds for relaxing and tasting are beautiful. There is a cafe, and a wood fired pizza and sandwich place on the property that is open on weekends. Small playground for young children as well. My reason for 3 star is as follows...my husband and I have been members for several years, and each time we go in, regardless of how busy they are, we end up feeling very ignored while the employees will joke and chat with non-members. The only reason I can figure for this is employees must get some kind of bonus/credit for signing up new members, so if you become a member, be prepared too feel second class, as the employees only seem interested in obtaining new members.
Pretty good winery in a nice location to bring a family. We very much enjoyed ourselves here and I'd recommend checking it out even with younger kids and dogs
This place is beyond exceptional. I have been a wine member for years. I have always enjoyed their wines, customer service, & the wine member exclusive perks. I am embarrassed to say that it has taken me so long to write a review. This winery, in addition to their staff, have always gone above and beyond to make my experience exceptional. I adore the perks of the wine members only wine releases. It refreshing to be treated like family when I arrive, each & every time. James, Darcie, Rosie & Erica have always made every experience truly special & exceptional. It's your staff that makes your wine club stand out far beyond the rest. Thank you. Having amazing wines, is an additional bonus to the many wonders of Michael David! LOVE this place!
Just went for the first time and was helped by Jesse. Had such an amazing experience. It has such a beautiful outdoor space. I will definitely have to come back
One of our favorite wineries that has continued to expand to handle it's popularity. They now have two tasting rooms and an outdoor patio just for drinking. They also have large grounds for the entire family to enjoy including boccie ball courts. Besides the wine, the food our favorite! Delicious soup on a cold day, cake breads, cookies, and sandwiches are all awesome and make this a great stop during a road trip between the Bay and Sacramento. They also have farm fresh vegetables to take home for dinner tonight! My favorite wine is the earthquake petite sirah, inky, lots of forward fruit, and delicious. All the earthquake wines are excellent. Highly recommend their club as they have events and sales for members year round.
