    My original review from 2016 is below this. It's 2019 now and they are still AMAZING.
    ==========
    I have never had a bad meal here, and the service is just right. Very authentic. The sauces are made in-house, they're varied, and they're perfect -- and if you like super hot sauces, you should try Big Poppa's XXXXX sauce. It will light your hair on fire.

    Had the beef ribs and I could just pull the bones out. Great flavor, great service, and a bunch of bbq sauces to choose from. I always evaluate a restaurant from a cooks perspective. I know how it should be and this was just that, real bbq.

    I love the vibe here. Inside is covered in hilarious Hillbillies-themed decorations. If you are a big fan of fried food, this place will be heaven for you. Most of the appetizers (like fried okra) and even desserts (fried pie with ice cream anyone?) are fried. *Daily special of fried catfish, fried frog legs and hush puppies was the star*

    Price was not cheap for the portions we got. But I enjoyed most of the food.

    Tip: Gotta try the homemade BBQ sauce. My favorite was Pa's Favorite

    Kind of a weird place as they're going for a "backwoods hillbilly" feel. I hated the "outhouse" bathroom. I thought the service was great. The sweet tea was wonderful and the smoked sausage was the best. Pulled pork was good. The mac and cheese was just rigatoni with melted cheese stirred in -- not a cheese sauce and nothing special. The coleslaw had way too much mayonnaise. I would eat here again as the food was good and my husband really enjoyed his platter -- I would just order different sides.
