Bud's Seafood Grille

We live about 40 minutes from this restaurant, but had received a good recommendation for fish and chips there. After reading some of the reviews on this site, we almost didn’t go. I’m so glad we did. The staff was friendly, and the sounds of the other customers was pure happiness. Oh yes, the fish and chips were great! We have eaten here several times and never disappointed. Large portions with attentive service. Their New England Clam Chowder is one of the best. Panko crusted Calamari is my personal favorites.

Bud's Seafood Restaurant is located in Lincoln Center, in Stockton, CA & they serve the best Calamari Steak, Clam Chowder, Oysters, Salmon Steak plus a variety of other seafoods most people enjoy! It beats some of the seafood restaurants at Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco! It is a locally owned restaurant and has been in business for over 20 years! Their servings are very generous and presented in a very nice way! I highly recommend this restaurant to any seafood lover!

We were so grateful to be seated on St. Valentine's day without a reservation that the following words are difficult to write. The service was great from the moment we walked in to the minute we left. We did however never get our waiter's name which is a shame because he substituted a much better entree than what my wife had ordered, this was really delicious. My salmon however was flavorless as were the rice and veggies. Price to portion was appropriate. Not sure we'll go back.

Bird's is definitely a Stockton treasure. The food is very good and the menu offers a wide variety of meat/fish entrees. It is a great place to go for a date night, lunch/dinner with friends and groups can be comfortably seated. Bud's Beef (either the hot entree or the salad is a favorite from the menu. They also serve a tasty shrimp/crab Louie. The wait staff are quick, friendly, accommodating and professional. Just an all-around good dining experience. The Sunday brunches are fantastic! The seating can feel a bit "close" when it's crowded which is why I gave it four stars out of five. If you happen to be placed by a large group, it can be difficult to have a quiet meal there. Otherwise, I highly recommend it for a great meal.
