Chuck's Hamburgers

I've visited many hamburger places across the entire state of California, looking for that perfect hole in the wall taste. Chuck's ranks a close second in all the ones I've visited and I'm convinced it's the best in NorCal. The Burgers served there hit all the marks of quality, rivers of grease running down the edge of the burger, the burger attempts to destroy itself halfway through eating it ( so you might have to attack it from more than one angle ) and you'll need a large stack of napkins at the ready before you begin. The side orders have that texture and crisp taste that shows they put a lot of care into making them. It costs more than average, but you get a burger that's well worth the price.

It's just not the same if Jeremy the owner isn't here. It took a while to take my order, and then asked me about it later again. Yes, I was served coffee right away, but did not set up utensils for me. My check came but it did not include the senior discount. Everyone was friendly, and the food was very good as usual. The corrected check allowed more Tip for them. Thanks, and I will be back.

The portions are huge, for the value. It tastes pretty good, too! I highly recommend getting a half order unless you're hungry because you haven't eaten for a full day beforehand. Also, did I mention their portions are HUGE! I feel like one full order could feed 3 people.

The prices were really good. I went there with a small group for lunch, there was a long line. I didn't wait too long to be seated. The meal I tried was the Triple Decker Clubhouse and it was hearty. It had a thick cut of ham not slices which stood out to me. I enjoyed it very much. It was cozy, very intimate.
