Neil´s Kick N-It Bbq

It's just bbq. No side dishes. So be aware. Bbq is awesome. Definitely a must have.

This is quite the eclectic place. Located on the corner of East Main and Wilson Way. A bright blue building. You can’t miss it. Plenty of parking behind the building. You can enter either from Wilson Way or Main Street.

Their summer hours starting March 1 will be Wednesday through Sunday 11 AM to 7 PM. Good idea to call first to make sure they’re open and to see what assortment of meat is available. I’m sure they do run out towards the end of the day.

I arrive mid afternoon. The full menu was available. I knew I wanted to try both the chicken and the ribs. I ordered a full slab and a whole chicken. I was not disappointed. The smoke flavor is so good I used very little barbecue sauce. I was surprised that they also offered baked potatoes off of the grill. They’re not on the menu but it certainly were a good complement for the barbecued meats! And…they even offered to add butter on the potatos!
Generous portions for a very fair price! Worth driving across town for.

Neil is quite the eclectic guy. His personality matches the cheerful color of the building. Very friendly and outgoing and a joy to talk to.

Like Neil‘s sign says “You can’t beat my meat!” Lol

Tried for the first place. Meat was great. We had ribs and chicken. Good prices. Good for a pick up to take home. No side dishes available but I would go back for sure. Have cash or venmo ready.
