Ember Restaurant

I've eaten here a few times now, never disappointed. Steak, pizza, lobster salad, its all delicious. The bone marrow however is not for me. To eat their own but I found the veggies it came with were the highlight of the dish.

Fresh farm to table food, creatively prepared and expertly served. Every flavor comes through; preparations are flavorful and light with a hint of richness. The bread (and wood oven pizzas) are the best. Outside tables are distanced and comfortable. Heaters are well placed and kept us toasty. We love the reservation system- far preferable to an hour plus wait. Can’t wait to come back.

Short drive from Avila beach, We got there earlier, but was able to sit down at our table, my ember old fashioned was balanced, not sweet, very good start. tomato toast was the best, rich and toasty, nice combo and squids were great and both fairly good portion. Trying to decided an entree or another small plates but settled with pepperoni pizza, sad to say it's was our least favorite, brought home more than 1/2 pie, perhaps other combo is better.

Love the place, it was our 32nd anniversary celebration, first time there and definitely worth the evening there.

Food was fantastic, and the marshmallow dessert was to die for
