El Taconazo

Great food...most of the time. We've ordered from here several times and thought we had finally found reliable, quality mexican food in A town. And that was true until we tried their burger and beef tacos. Best description I can offer is mystery meat. One of the few times we've requested a refund. This was not always the case. First time we ordered from here we had delicious ground beef burrito and tacos. But for the time being, we're just sticking to the veggie (bean and cheese) and chicken Chimichanga and chicken tacos, which are always delicious!! On a side note, the last few months they stopped including chips and salsa and their salsa is muy bien!

Best Tacos I've Had Ever and the Horchata was pretty Damn Good!

First time at El Taconazo, and I loved it! Service was great and the food was delicious. I had a bowl of Chicken Tortilla Soup (I had already started eating it before I took this picture, so it doesn't look as good here). Savory chicken with broccoli, cauliflower, tortilla strips and lots of cheese. Absolutely delicious!

My husband and I decided to try this place out on our way to Morro Bay and I’m so glad we did. The minute you are seated someone is asking you what you’d like to drink, order and so on. We will definitely come back to El Taconazo when we go to Morro Bay. ❤️

The food here is amazing. You can taste the homemade flavor. I've passed this place many times on my way to morro bay. Wish I had stopped sooner. I found my new to go spot.
