Excellent Thai food! I had the pumpkin curry with chicken and my boyfriend had green curry with salmon. We also split some dumpling appetizers.
He’s been to Thailand and said it was just like being back there. Delicious, stayed hot until we got back to our campsite and then some. Portions were very generous and I’d say my order was about 3 to 4 servings. Friendly staff. I’d definitely recommend!

Little background of my family, my dad partially grew up in Thailand(until he was about 5), and his brother was born there. My grandparent's Thai friends would sometimes come to America to visit, and would cook homeade Thai food for us. I grew up eating Thai food when I was in a high chair.

So we're used to very authentic Thai food, which is very difficult to find on the central coast.(We used to live nearer to LA) After trying many Thai restaurants, Divine Thai was a most pleasant surprise.

It's one of the best Thai restaurants I have ever been to, only outmatched by some restaurants that sadly no longer exist in the Los Angeles Thaitown. Because it's very authentic, it is worth noting it may be rather spicy for the average person. I like to order it p̄hĕd p̄hĕd(or "Thai Spicy"), but to most people I know on the central coast I'd recommend trying medium or mild first.

    Our favorite things to order?

At any Thai place we always order Pad Kee Mow(Drunken noodles) which is one of our favorite Thai dishes. It is wonderful here, with great quality ingredients including actual Thai basil and peppers.(where other restaurants around here often use substitues because there's not many Asian markets here)

Pumpkin curry is another amazing dish here. I hadn't had Pumpkin curry until I had it here, as it's not too common at other Thai restaurants. Previously panang was my favorite curry, now this one is. It does taste similar to panang, but still a unique flavor of it's own, and of course the "pumpkin" which is great. It actually seems to be acorn squash, but either way it's great.

Their Tom Yum (soup) is also really good, as well as their Som Tum.

Their service is really great too, especially one of their waitresses who has a very bubbly and happy personality. She's sure to brighten anyone's day!

I'm used to eating spicy food, but the food here was so hot that I had a tough time with it. I wish they'd warned us when we ordered so we could have asked for milder level. Otherwise the food was flavorful and good quality.

If you like Thai food, this is the place. So far this is the best Thai around. My wife agrees, and she grew up eating Thai food!

We got the HOT version, and it's hotter than most places version of 'Thai Spicy'. So be forewarned, it is //authentic//.

The sweet and sour sauce is obviously homemade and has real fruit chunks. Not just pineapple, but pineapple, kiwi and a few I didn't recognize. But it's out of this world.

This is a place to try if you think you've eaten Thai before. Because unless you've eaten Thai IN Thailand, you probably haven't had this good.
