Finney's Crafthouse & Kitchen - San Luis Obispo

We ordered the Family Appetizer Party (5 apps) from Finney's for delivery through Doordash, plus a few other items. We really enjoyed the food overall but had a few comments! We especially enjoyed the mini lobster rolls, mini brats, chicken & waffle bites, Nashville chicken sliders, and the crispy cauliflower, both in buffalo and taco form. It seemed like our Doordash driver got lost on the way here, and/or we were having trouble communicating through the Doordash app. So when he arrived most of the food was cold. It was mostly rescuable in the oven, except the french fries - they are shoestring fries so they got too dried out in the oven. But the rest of the items did well in the oven! A thicker french fry probably would travel better.

We also ordered one cocktail to-go, the Finney's Cadillac. While it was delicious, I would suggest that cocktails for pickup or delivery be served shaken/chilled but without ice. By the time it arrived the ice was melting into the drink and diluted it. I would have been happy to add my own ice at home!

Overall, we were pleased and really look forward to trying Finney's out again in person at the restaurant when it's open for dine-in!

Lived in SLO for quite some time, never had service this good. Mallory and Parker were legit some of the best servers I’ve had in this entire town.

In a town plagued with bad service (like many college towns), this is stand out.

Finney's is a true gem of San Luis Obispo. Everyone at my table loved their food, and I heard great things from the surrounding tables too. The staff is wonderful, the location is good...its just a great experience. Highly recommended.

We were referred to this place by a local so we thought we'd try it. All they did was rave about this place!

First off it was about a 20 min wait (which was totally fine, I didn't mind waiting, but if your in a hurry be prepared to wait. Especially on the weekend )

Once we were seated about half of the members from our table were sitting in the sun. Although there were umbrellas provided for shade, our backs were burning from the sun.

The coconut shrimp was pretty good!
I ordered a flat bread pizza and it was just OK. I was expecting it to be way better.
My son enjoyed his burger.
My husband had gotten tacos and they were alright. He wasn't too impressed either.
And honestly for the price we paid I would have rather gone somewhere else.

The only thing my husband did enjoy was the beer ?.

Finley's is conveniently located, very skilled at staying within COVID-19 regulations, has incredibly warm and friendly staff, has an incredible drink selection, and an impressive menu with excellent customization options. Even when they were busier than expected for Monday night staff did an excellent job assisting all customers. Everyone needs to visit Finney's.
