You might be thinking ‘doesn’t SLO already have a lot pizza places?’ That may be true but My Friend Mike’s has now replaced previous favorites as the BEST in town. The crust is so flavorful (thanks, sourdough!) and a perfect texture. The sauce is clearly made from good quality, and all ingredients are clearly sourced with intention and attention to detail. We tried 3 pies (mushrooms & prosciutto, peppers & pepperoni, and sausage & caramelized onions) and all 3 were delicious. Easy to order ahead of time and pay online. Good prices for very delicious, gourmet pizza. VERY friendly staff inside who want to chat about pizza! Highly recommend My Friend Mike’s.
