Krispy Krunchy Chicken

Heard about a new location of this establishment opening up in the city; decided to try the one that was closer to home. Had a two-piece meal, mixed (one white meat, one dark meat), which came with a biscuit. Price after tax was just under $6. It is in a gas station convenience store, so I took it with me and drove about 15-20mins. It was still warm when I started devouring it. Nice crispiness, good flavor, not too much salt, not overly greasy. I was pleasantly impressed. The biscuit was good too, honey and butter flavor was nice. I was filled up after finishing it, which was a good sign as.well. I would say this eatery is on par with KFC and Popeye's, it will probably become one of my fried chicken options from now on. You just need to get past the fact that they work out of a gas station convenience store.

Popularly known as "Gas Station Chicken," this is a counter inside the mini-mart at a Valero gas station. The chicken was amazing. Crunchy, moist and flavorful inside and out. A five star treat. The fries, thick wedge cut potatoes coated and then fried had very good flavor, but were served warm, not hot, and had been under the heat lamps too long. The biscuits we're very good. Since it is located inside a Gas Station mini-mart, there's no place to sit and eat. Take out only. This was my first time. I'll be going back very soon.
