Sweet Basil Thai Cuisine

This is a small but popular spot for the local residents. Food is consistent and tasty. Staff is nice, but come early (before 6pm) if you don't want to deal with the lines.

The food was very good and flavorful. I would recommend reading at this place. Probably one of the better restaurants in Foster City.

I think this may be some of the best Thai food I have ever had.

Plan to arrive early otherwise you may have to wait awhile for a table. It is worth the wait!

The place is beautiful, the platters look pretty, the food tastes good, the servers are competent. They also are overworked during busy times so while everything comes out quickly it can feel a bit rushed or challenging trying to ask for hot sauce or a drink. I find all of the foods yummy flavorful but erring on the side of sweet and wishing for a chile here n there. Staff remains courteous and accommodating, even with the slight under staffing.

Make a reservation ahead of time. Tasty food. Good vegetarian options. Would have given 5 stars if not for the space constraints. It is difficult to accommodate parties > 8 along with the regular crowd.
