Martins West Gastropub

Wife and I dropped in on an impromptu date night. We were warmly greeted and seated quickly. Despite being busy with an event, the team was attentive and made sure we we're happy. The drinks were well made and creative. The food was good and perfect for sharing. We both sampled several items and we're happy with our selections. The place had a good vibe. Fun but not overly loud. Overall we liked Martins West and will be back.

Lunch consisted of very slow service, apparently the soccer game was more enticing than waiting on the guests. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich which had about a quarter ounce of chicken and a pound of bread. The cauliflower soup should have been served with pita bread and called cauliflower hummus. the only reason I am giving three stars instead of two is because past experiences were above average.

In the future I will go here for drinks oh, but I will not be back for food again.

A great place to spend an evening in redwood City. The food was great and the waiters were amazing.

My wife and I ordered the lamb sliders and lamb pasties. The meat was wonderfully balanced and cooked to near perfection. Even on a Friday we had a pleasant conversation without having to yell. Well definitely return!

Great cocktails. The food is pretty good but pricey. I usually prefer to go just for drinks.
