    The best Texas style BBQ I had in SF was from a food truck... who knew?

    I'm a big fan of great BBQ, but living in SF means you have to settle for decent BBQ. I wish I would've discovered Capelo's sooner.

    I had the brisket sandwich and the ribs. Both were Texas worthy. This is true competition style BBQ. There are also choices of sauces on the side. The KC style and SC (mustard) style that I tried were both spot on!

    In addition to the mains being great, the sides were equally well thought out. The mac and cheese was fantastic as well as the corn muffins.

    Seriously, if this truck happens to be in you area give it a try!

    As a Texan relocated to San Francisco, I've finally found something as good as Texas barbecue! The brisket was wonderful. Very lean and had a great flavor. They had many sauce options, but the one I had was perfect and exactly how I prefer BBQ sauce. If you like Texas styled barbecue then you will love Capelo's Barbecue!

    They came to our periodic “food truck Thursday” event at our business complex. Brisket is like butter and smokey. Mix The hot and sweet sauces together!

    these guys are awesome! even for a little, 15-person picnic, we were treated like their best big spender. every person I've encountered there, from the owner to the food truck window, has provided me with exceptional customer service. doesn't hurt that they make 4 amazing sauces. (gotta try the xxx!)
