    Yelp awarded 3.5 Stars and 3 Medallions to El Guanaco Restaurant- People love those delicious gluten-free Pupusas, pickled curtido (cold slaw) and red salsa. El Guanaco has been serving delicious home style food for 40 years since April 25, 1981. Locals come for delicious Soups, Fried Fish, fried Yucca, fried golden brown plantains, beans topped with sour-cream. If you want Amazing finger licking Pupusas with a cold beer. This is your place it will not disappoint.

    Hands down, my favorite Salvadoran restaurant in the Bay Area - the service is a bit slow, but the pupusas and desserts are good, and so are the prices.
