    A great place to experience omakase without driving all the way to SF. It is a very small restaurant with bar seating only. The chef provided information regarding each dish before serving them, which I really appreciated. Ingredients seemed fresh and seasonal, so their menu will likely change depending on the season. There was a construction happening next door, and their noise was getting loud. The chef himself (?!) went next door and fixed the issue before it got too disruptive.

    Such a good dinner! This was a real treat and the chef was very knowledgeable. The fish was fresh and uncommon for the area. Then, much of it was prepared differently than what many chefs do. Everything with care, detail, and an explanation. There was a lot of prep work put into things. It was a terrific experience!

    This is the top level experience in the Bay area for Omakase sushi. Chef Jason takes the entire experience to the highest level for a true sushi lovers delight. The total courses is around 20, with each piece of sushi served in a methodical order according to the Chefs style and taste journey, meant to take your palette towards richer and more robust flavors and textures as you delve deeper.

    His experience working in starred resturaunts shines and he will likely earn his own star in due time if he continues to sustain this level of excellence.

    His preparation of the sushi (prior to the making it) shows his dedication, as he is arriving at around 9am to buy the freshest fish and prepare it all day for two 9 person meals starting at 530pm and lasting until 1130-12 midnight. He is bringing in only the highest quality fish and ingredients from Japan, Canada and around the world and the rice is absolutely delicious as well (made using two types of rice vinegar blended and a specialized Japanese rice, cooked in a pressure rice cooker (the top end method). I asked a lot of questions as the food was delicious and worth learning more about.

    If you want a sushi meal that will leave a lasting impression, it's here. The price is also very good considering the attention and level of quality of fish being served. I'll be returning many times this year to try different seasons of fish.

    Such a great place to slow down, relax, savor, and appreciate.

    Chef Jason has more than a decade of experience. He will bring you the best seafood of the season from all around the world with the highest quality. Everything in the restaurant was carefully picked by the chef from the fish to the rice to the spoon. The food was flavorful and beautiful.

    We also learned about the life of the fish, where they live, what they eat, how to best prepare and serve. We enjoyed the fun conversation and had an amazing time. Thank you Chef Jason!

    Overall the nigiri is okay, and the ingredients are fresh, but the combination of how to building the experience is a bit weak. They only provide 9 seat pre-round at night, the total will have 2 rounds. Book it before you come, it's a tiny place, but you definitely can enjoy your night. The price is a bit higher than expect depends on their fish choice.
