It's a good place to eat or take out. Plenty of parking spaces. And love the Tuesday specials.

Their shrimp po' boy is surprisingly authentic and delicious. From the texture of the soft role to the modest heat of the fried shrimp, not to mention the perfect amount of shredded lettuce and pickles, you would be hard pressed to find a better po' boy outside of New Orleans. Order it with the red beans and rice, be sure to ask for hot sauce packets, and you'll have one tasty meal!
One thing this particular Popeye's could do better is maintain the cleanliness of the dinning area, it is often a little unkempt and detracts from what is otherwise a quality experience.

I was Craven for some Popeye Chicken at work all day so soon as I got off I drove down to Popeye's Chicken and I said,
( I want the two piece meal ) it was a drumstick and a thigh I told the cashier I want to upgrade it with 2 breast and charge me the difference .
That chicken was so crispy and juice hit the spot, highly recommend making your own upgrades.
From then on that was my special order when I want some Popeye Chicken ????????

My family's go-to for fried chicken. For us, the Colonel's just not as crispy and crunchy. And my son enjoys the jambalaya. Too bad there isn't a Popeyes with a drive-through nearby. That's the only reason I still visit the Colonel now and then.
