    Best banh mi I’ve had outside of Vietnam so far. It’s hard to find a spot in the US that gets the pickled veggies just right with a good meat veggie ratio but these guys knocked it out of the park. Bread was perfectly crunchy too ????

    I love this place! I have ordered the bahn mi sandwich twice from here. Most recently, on a flight to Tokyo. I had a layover at SFO I was looking forward to a return visit to “Bun Mee“. I ordered the five spice chicken sandwich again and was absolutely delicious all the way to Tokyo and was my dinner my first night back in Japan! The chicken is very flavorful, along with the pickled vegetables and a few jalapeño slices just to spice things up! I was so exhausted from my arduous trip from Texas to Tokyo but the sandwich really was comforting and delicious!
