    Great food, great service .. atmosphere was amazing too!! The old bank building really turned into a beautiful restaurant

    We were sent here after our first choice of Italian restaurant was closed and we had stopped into a cute Asian bakery. The owner had recommended Andiamo in Banca after she herself had eaten their fresh pasta the night before. My mother and I had an excellent meatball appetizer, fresh bread, crispy & bright salads (the Siciliana was especially wonderful), along with homemade Bolognese fettuccine and some delicious Tiger prawns entrees. To finish, we ordered the mango and raspberry cotta and a tiramisu. Both were worth coming for dessert alone! The owner and head chef both came by to ask how our meal was and the waitstaff were accommodating and polite. A good start to a new restaurant in SSF!

    I was little hesitant trying a new restaurant on the second day of opening but my husband and I decided to give it a try and we were so happy we did. We mistakenly showed up before the restaurant opened and the manager kindly let us come in and have a seat at the bar and order a drink before the kitchen opened. The inside is beautiful and very welcoming. We were recommended the meatballs and the lamb pasta. Both were excellent. The lamb sauce was so tender and it was served over a fresh pasta. Delicious!!!! During our meal the owner John stopped by and chatted a little and we also got to meet the the chef who is from Italy and also a partner in the restaurant. If day two is anything to go by this restaurant is going to be a huge hit and a very welcome addition to South City.
