Little Lucca Sandwich Shop

Great sandwich shop. I've had two sandwiches both times while visiting San Francisco. I have always gone with the Dutch Crunch with smoked turkey. I love their two homemade sauces. Also added sprouts, bacon, avacado. Crazy good. We usually have them remove some of the bread since there is a lot of it and it makes a little gutter for all the fillings. They should open more shops I think most people would love their sandwiches. My wife and sister in law love this place and would give it 5 stars.

The reviews aren't lying- sandwiches are HUGE! Literally the size of my entire arm. And delicious! I had the Lucca combo on Dutch crunch bread with avocado. I could only finish half, and had the other half later mmm they have a good assortment of drinks and chips as well!

No indoor seating but plenty of room outside on the patio. Would recommend picking up to-go or enjoy outdoor seating when it's warm outside! Highly recommend!

This place is awesome! Sometimes the line is out the door, but once you get a bit of these heavenly creations you'll understand why! The sandwiches are not only delicious but their huge! Not something you finish in one sitting. Half now ad half later...
Their garlic sauce that they put on every sandwich is out of this world good! And if you do have a big appetite, you can always order extra meat!
So yes, go here, fall in love with them, and come back with friends!

One of the best sandwiches I've ever had. Amazing selection, amazing taste, amazing value.

However I do have 2 issues. I think the meats could be sliced a little thinner and I was surprised they used some boars head products (although very good quality meats) I thought they would have self cured the salami or brought it from Italy or self roasted the roast beef. Anyways still great.

Still the best deal in town and refreshing to find some great things really never change- tho if you aren't going to have a bathroom, how about a porta potty ? The delicious huge portions makes you want to enjoy "the whole thing" but when you fill up, its gotta go somewhere. The price is a terrific deal for all the fresh goodness, and you can always bet on a friendly face serving you. I have loved this business since the 80's. They have kept up with the trends offering excellent pesto, and treats! Expect to eat outside or take with you to enjoy. Great drink selection too.
