The Mountain House

The view is great. It was quite spectacular as you're dining in the woods. The food though, not that great. I ordered chicken pot pie, which had no salt in it. And when I asked the waitress (who btw was very helpful), her reply was that every person has a different taste. I didn't know what to say next, I just asked for a salt shaker. The desserts were also kind of okay. My wife ordered Moscow mule, not that great again. And it is pricey, with drinks, expect above $100/couple.

incredible food in an awesome setting up in the mountains. beautiful trees right outside. The elk medallions were to die for. All of our food was prepared perfectly. This is also a great date spot.

It has a cozy bar in front and the restaurant is located at the back. The restaurant has a stunning view of redwoods. The service was great and super friendly. We ordered elk, rabbit, shrimp and wild boar. All was excellently cooked and well priced. Desserts are a must to have as they all have a homely feel. Absolutely loved this place.

We have such an awesome first experience- we will be back! And the winding drive up to them gets you in the mood for a great relaxing time. Parking is tight- just keep going towards the back of the lot of and look amongst the trees.

The best place with good food and drinks. The bar is a small part of the place but is never crowded. The dinning room is cozy and the staff is excellent. I brought my family there and ordered ostrich steaks. It was the best meal I ever had. The only thing that sucks is that it needs longer hours.
