Yum! I have had the roasted veggie sandwich with goat cheese twice and I am craving it again. The bread tastes homemade. My first time here I also had a cup of the mushroom soup and it was perfect! Not a soup you see on menus very often and I really loved it. Great quality, fresh and a cute patio.
Ordered the chopped chicken salad and it was good but it was honestly just really expensive for the sad amount of salad ($14.50) skimpy with the chicken. South coast is a way better deal.
I want to come here often. Lunch yesterday was salad greens with chicken, cranberries, toasted wild rice....delicious light dressing on the colorful local heirloom greens, with brioche. Partner's chicken salad topped with greens on a homemade poppy seed bun. Chocolate chip cookie was the best. Stumptown coffee was very good.
Did the pop up last eve. It was so good. 5 courses all perfect, besides the amazing house made bread. Chef Owen is bringing a bright spot to Old Town Goleta, his ingredients all locally sourced, and prepared with perfection. So tender pork chops, squash gnocchi, potato leek soup, housemade ice cream, nice wine and local beers available. New tables and chairs outside with heaters and major update from Goodland Kitchen.
Really fresh menu and all our food was delicious, owner and staff were super friendly. We went for breakfast but will definitely be back to try lunch too!
