Amazing homemade food!!!!! Wonderful and kind owners/cooks! I moved to Guadalupe 2 weeks ago and have eaten here 4 times already. I am looking forward to trying everything on their menu. Highly recommend!
Amazing fried chicken and amazing service. I knew it was going to be legit when they let us know upfront that the chicken would take about "20-25 minutes to cook" and asked if that would be alright. Absolutely! It did not disappoint. Crispy skin, great favor, so juicy. Both the Mac and cheese and red beans and rice are very tasty as well. The owner was so kind and offered us seating and some extra sides as we dug into our meals. Will definitely be back and will recommend to my friends.
Fried chicken is fantastic! The jambalaya is perfect! The family that runs thenplace are very nice and the service is good. It's definitely a hole in the wall and a drive from just about anywhere. Well worth the drive.
The main courses are delicious. Outstanding jambalaya and red beans and rice. Very authentic! Not 5 stars due to wait and to the bread sides. We waited 45 minutes for our food. And the garlic bread was just bread slopped with butter and put in the oven just enough for the butter to melt but no crisp the bread. It was soggy. But the main dishes show care and are flavorful
