This is truly a hidden gem of a place. I’d like to recommend the Kouign-Amman and Egg in a frame #2, in that order to boot. Flaky mildly sweet pastry to start with and then to finish it off with dense but very flavorful gravy with a thick slice of toast and homemade bacon bits (it’s way bigger than your average bacon bits however). I also recommend a second glass of coffee. I’m pretty glad to have come across this place only because I was in the area too early to try other restaurants, but this was what my fatigued self needed. All in all, I’d highly recommend if you were passing by Los Alamos to begin with and maybe you should think about visiting this gem yourselves.
This place was amazing! Had by far the best biscuit 🍪 I've ever had. Also had a ham/cheese 🥐! Oatmeal raisin cookie was good, a bit crunchy but still good. All in all an amazing find.
We went there this morning for breakfast. We encountered 4 employees , one which was rude and the other was extremely rude. We stood outside because the sign on the door said to wait. A group of diners came out so we proceeded to walk inside. At that point one woman came out and started screaming at us for walking inside the restaurant. She shouted at us that we must wait outside until called for. We had to turn around and go outside and waited until the cashier said we could come in . We should have left but we did not. The cashier called us in and I asked if we could go sit at a table to read the menu. She rudely told us no we had to order before we sat down. The food was good but I will not go back to be yelled at . The group before us and the two groups after also were confused and they were yelled at also. Maybe the you feel the food is so good that you do not have to treat your customer with respect . We shall not return!!!
The bread variety is great! The real deal is the Canele, ever since I saw Chef John make these I've wanted to try them. They're delicious, I wish I would have gotten more.
The vegetarian sandwich was surprisingly good. The outside seating is nice and relaxing. Definitely worth drive up.
