The absolute best place to eat on the central coast. Kay and all of her waitresses are so sweet. The cooks are the best.
The serves here is great. The servers are nice, friendly and helpful. The food came out quick. But, as far as their food goes it's another story. Breakfast is my favorite meal and I can eat it anytime. I ordered corned beef hash with eggs and home fries. My hash was very good and what can you say about eggs but mine could cook for a minute more. The home fries needed something. They were a little bland. I also got a biscuit. I felt their biscuit was a little over worked and over cooked. My husband some type of omelet and he felt it was nothing to write home about. Maybe we're a little picky and I will give this place another chance in the future. The staff and ambience makes up for it.
Seems like every time I come to Santa Maria I come have breakfast here. I have not been disappointed. I have had the Tri Tip, chicken and waffles, pancakes, and chicken fried steak. Food is good with large portions. The service is also great. They are friendly and helpful. @raulvsfood
We waited 1 hour and 45 minutes to be seated but the average time to be seated is usually 50 minutes to an hour.
If not for the unusually long time we waited which we feel was from an oversight we would've given 5 stars.
The food was great as always, the service was great, the time it took to get our food was not long at a all.
We have a very well behaved hospice dog that we can't leave alone at home. He was welcomed by the staff and we were able to enjoy our food in the outdoor seating area on a beautiful day.
If you're in a hurry call food in and pick up.
Long wait is only for tables to eat there on sight.
I highly recommend this restaurant.
The best breakfast in or out of town! Service is good, and you can usually get a seat pretty fast even if there's a crowd. The "too much to drink last night" omelette is the best, but there's not a bad dish on the menu. Don't pass up the strawberry lemonade either!
