    Delicious food, cute atmosphere! Well worth enduring the loud chants of college partiers. Went twice in the same weekend because the food was so good. Tip generously, the staff more than deserve it!

    Kyoto Japanese Restaurant was at the time of reviews the top rated Japanese restaurant in Santa Barbara. However, if you're looking for a truly delicious restaurant to remember- look elsewhere. The fire roll was good but only because I liked the sauce, you couldn't taste any of the innards of the roll.

    Yummy food and friendly people. Great lunch specials. Apart from regular tables, they have this traditional dining room to the side hidden behind sliding doors with the traditional low tables and you sit on the floor (they have low chairs with back rests) and leave shoes on the steps outside the room - fun setting for a large group.

    Sushi is always good! My wife gets the Titanic Roll and it is amazing. she normally doesn't like salmon, but honest to god she loves it! Usually good service, but it can be a bit slow if they're busy- like any restaurant. Good for large groups as well as they have the long tables.
