Luna Grill - Santa Barbara

My top site for quality mediterranean food. Service is always excellent even when they have a full house. Had a friend come into town and asked me to take him here again. Prices are reasonable I would say.

This is a fast food joint serving Mediterranean wanna be cuisine. Ordered the Gyros plate. The Gyros bore a distant taste to the real thing and was shaved somewhat thin and was rather dry. Too much rice and too little meat and I felt it was overpriced for what they served. They also serve the Beyond burger which is a fake meat vegetarian burger. I didn't try this.

Good Mediterranean food at a lunch time speed. A nice casual spot that also has beer and wine. On upper state st with lots of shopping nearby Luna Grill is definitely worth a try.

I confess that this place exceeded my expectations. I got in and ordered lamb kebob with rice and it was really delicious. The atmosphere is nice and the ornaments and interior design were nice as well. I just gave 4 stars and not 5, because in my opinion, the lamb portion was smaller than other places out there. Other than that, I guess it's a very nice place.

I love this Luna grill! It's a Mediterranean chain restaurant but with freshly made food. From gyros to kebabs this place is great. Parking is easy and they have a patio. Order at the counter and they bring it to you. Check out the menu online before your first visit, it's large. Beer and wine available. The baklava is good.
