sichuan food and the scene at this location is great. i've had nothing but enjoyable experiences here and plan to keep visiting. the prices are good for what you get.

Good food. Great dumplings. Don’t order delivery. I had to walk out to the street to get my food and the guy didn’t have a pen.

Ventura/SantThis is the go to late night Chinese food spot. And they also have lots of veggie options. Ambiance is Chinese restaurant 90s nostalgic. The staff are nice and fast. They are also knowledgeable of dietary restriction and will modify per request. Very vegetarian friendly!

Sichuan food at this location - super good. service is always excellent even when they have a full house. the service here is attentive. it has a good feel to it. reminds me of a cafe in chicago i liked to visit.

Okay so the service is lacking quite a bit. It took forever to finally get our order in and the lighting in the dining room is terrible. Makes you feel like you're eating in a hospital cafeteria...but Lord...wow...fantastic flavors and perfectly prepared dishes. The chef here knows his stuff! Be warned though, when you ask for extra spicy, it's Chernobyl level hot. I'll be back for sure! Sometimes the food is just worth the wait and psycho lighting. Hands down the best Chinese food I've had in Santa Barbara.
