We come here specifically for the clam chowder. This time we also had the Garlic Baked Clams (which were excellent) and the fried Calamari (it's pretty good). We enjoy sitting outside for the view of the harbour. Our waitress and the service staff were great. The only off part was the Hostess wasn't particularly warm or welcoming and we were given a 15 min wait time but in reality it was closer to an hour. But we wilp certainly be back as everything else was quite good.
I love this place. They have the best cioppino in town. The view is great and you can walk the breakwater right before or after your meal to get a smidge of exercise. Yes, there is often a wait, and yes, many tourists come here, but the food is very good and "Santa Barbara reasonable", and many of the locals, like myself, go here often as well. Great place to meet people and chat, plus you can watch all kinds of things happening at the harbor. Cons are that free parking is more often than not unavailable.
Great seafood in an amazing spot. For Santa Barbara the prices are reasonable and the quality and portion size are great. It would be great if there was a kids menu however looking around it seemed they were happy to make things specifically for kids. Wine was good although the list was very short so would have been nice to see a few more local white wines on there.
Locals know this spot well and tourist have heard about it... It's worth finding. The food is good and the drinks are flowing. The view over the harbor is amazing. Not too far from downtown and a good spot hanging out.
Very nice and cozy restaurant. There are tables inside and outside with a great view of the harbor. I prefer to sit outside, if the weather is nice, to catch those vibes of relaxing by the ocean. Inside it's more busy and lively though. The stuff is very friendly and helpful. The food is amazing. Everything I had there was delicious ???? Seafood is fresh and yummy. The only DISAPPOINTMENT was KETCHUP served with fresh oysters and fresh crab (yuck ????). Some oil-vinegar-herb sauce could elevate the experience to the whole new level. But it's also good just raw without any condiments.
