Belmond El Encanto

Food was truly memorable. It is exceptionally well presented. The setting could not be better. We scheduled our anniversary dinner for the interior. Once we arrived, we realized that the weather was perfect to sit outside. They had no trouble putting us outside. The view was amazing. We watched a beautiful California fall sunset over the islands. The tables were spaced nicely. Service was superb. I would love to go back.

The food and experience here was memorable and almost faultless. One critique is that my octopus starter could have been a slightly bigger portion. Otherwise the service was friendly and professional and probably the best view on the Riviera. All our meals were delicious!

Nice hotel with good view. The service is good with friendly atmosphere. The room is spacious with enough space of bath room. The room has fire place and good air-cons so that you may adapt the big difference between day and night in Sata Barbara. The food is good day and night. A nice place for relaxing.

Nice suites with exceptional View. Service has a lot to be desired. I stayed two nights and when I returned to my room at 11 p.m. I found that my room was not cleaned. I called the front desk to complain and was able to at least get clean towels. The next day when I checked out management sought me out to apologize but only offered to reduce valet parking fee
. I feel at over $500 a night I shouldn't have to pay to sleep in a dirty room. It would be standard policy in most better hotels. Nice hotel but you can do better.

Wonderful quaint hotel that is the epitome of understated luxury.
Beautifully appointed rooms and grounds which are accented by some wonderful and interesting accessories such as a sleeping angel under a tree.
We loved the wishing well idea too.
Staff were attentive and helpful. The concierge extremely so and went out of his way to help.
